Ilan Scialom works on the digital security of critical infrastructures in the energy sector in the Middle East. More specifically, he studies Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
His research thesis analyzes the strategies of these States to protect the energy sector in the face of the multiple and hybrid cyber threats they face, in a context of increased strategic competition between great powers. He is also interested in the multiple challenges of the digital revolution at the regional level, including the development of digital security strategies in the face of the emergence of smart cities.
